The Color Purple

Many wonder which element does the color purple represent in feng shui. The chinese believe that the color purple is the colour red, turning to blue (which is technically correct as the colour purple is a mix of red and blue colors). This symbolizes fire turning into water(blue) and therefore is regarded as a very auspicious colour! |

Tattoos

Generally, it is a good idea to keep your secret friends & allies (see Chinese astrology) nearby, whether it is in the form of real people, figurines or other symbols. Some may even consider having a tattoo of their secret friends and allies. This is generally okay, but one must always be mindful when it comes to the use of Tiger and Dragon symbols. In feng shui, Dragon is considered a very powerful celestial animal. If you wish you to have a tatoo of a dragon, make sure its of a moderate or small size. The chi of a big an overwhelming dragon can be detrimental to the person brearing it. The same goes to the tiger. A big tattoo of a fierce, vicious tiger with its mouth open could create energy which pushes other people away. When it comes to such animals, it may be better to carry an amulet charm instead

Pets for fengshui

Pets are excellent for creating 'Yang' energy in the house. Dogs are wonderful pets as they are wonderful companions and loyal to their owners. Fishes are good energizers of wealth a well. When the aquarium is placed in the right sector (south east) it can energise the wood element in that sector to create wealth. Avoid having a singular predatory fish in the aquarium. Instead, rear lots of brightly colored fish in the aquarium. Tortoises are also great feng shui animals, rear them in the back of your home to symbolized good support for the entire family. Iguanas and snakes are believed to be symbols of the dragon and thus is also very auspicious.
