Position of the Bed

The position of the bed should be positioned in such a way that when you sleep, neither your head nor your feet are pointing towards the door or the window.
Another good way to arrange your bed is to have it in command position. Place the bed facing the door in the far side of the room, but not directly facing the door. In this arrangement, you will benefit greatly from the Chi he it comes though the door into the room. Don't place the bed directly in front of the door, as the flow of chi will be too strong. Always place the head of the bed against the wall for support. Leaving the bed 'floating' in the middle of the bedroom is not good feng shui.
Also make sure that the bed is not placed under any exposed beams and that there are no sharp edges and corners pointing towards the bed.
Working in the Bedroom

It is also bad feng shui to have your work desk in the bedroom. The bedroom is a place for resting, thus the energy for the room is yin. Work on the other hand is an active activity, and it is best conducted in a Yang environment, such as the office or a separate home office.
Mirrors

Do not place the mirror in such a way that it reflects the bed. This is especially bad for couples that share the room. Having the mirror in such a position will attract infidelity and cause problems in the marriage and personal relationships. Mirrors and even TV's in the bedroom, if the reflect the bed, should be covered up when you sleep
Plants and Aquariums

Big Plants and aquarium and very yang features which are commonly used to activate the water and wood energy. This is especially true for aquariums with fishes as it gives out strong yang energy. Plants, aquariums and even paintings of the sea and rivers are best left outside the bedroom.
Clean the clutter

In Feng Shui, clutter represents unfinished matters, and thus will slow down your life’s progress. Even if the clutter is out of sight e.g. under the bed, the accumulation of clutter and dirt causes bad chi built up.
Bed Selection

The general rule is the bigger the bed the better. Bigger beds symbolizes good support, so if you sleep alone, choose a queen sized bed and if you are a couple, get a king sized bed. Do not go overboard with this because if the bed is too big, it can overwhelm the inhabitant of the room. The bed size should also be proportionate to the size of the bedroom
Pictures over the Bed

It is important to carefully select the pictures you place over your bed. A good suggestion is to have a picture of gentle sloping mountains behind the bed to symbolize support. Beautiful sceneries and other soothing images are good ideas too. Avoid depressing, abstract images, which emits negative energies. For example a painting of a single lonely woman will not be good for the couple sleeping in the room. Paintings of water feature such as the river or the sea is also bad feng shui as it ‘cools’ down the passion between the couple in the room.
